Before submitting your device for service, warranty claims, device swaps or, returns,
it is important to disable Find My on your iPhone or iPad.
If Find My is still enabled, we will be unable to perform service on the device and
may not be able to process warranty claims, swaps, or returns.
Please disable Find My before submitting a device for:
- Device swaps
- Service requests
- Returns
- Devices that cannot be powered on
Method 1 (via iPhone/iPad)
If you have access to your device, follow these steps:
- Open Settings
- Tap your name
- Tap Find My
- Tap Find My iPhone or Find My iPad
- Turn off Find My.
- Enter your Apple Account password.
- Tap Turn Off to confirm.
Method 2 (via iCloud)
If you do not have access to your device, follow these steps:
- Go to https://www.icloud.com
- Sign in with your Apple Account and password.
- Open Find Devices
- Select the device you want to remove from your account.
- If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to erase the device.
- Once the process is complete, click Remove from Account.
- Verify that the device no longer appears under All Devices.
If your device is not working or cannot be powered on:
- Go to https://www.icloud.com
- Sign in with your Apple Account and password.
- If you are prompted to enter a verification code, select Find Devices from the available options.
- Select the device you want to remove.
- Click Remove from Account.
- Verify that the device has been removed from your Apple Account.
- Removing the device from your Apple Account disables Activation Lock and allows Team8 to process your service request, device swap, or return.
